Responsibilities

• All aspects of the physical construction and manufacturing of custom signage and graphics that goes beyond just quick turnaround signage. We do custom props for theme parks, large scale graphics packages for large events, large custom sign packages for rehabs and new construction, etc
• Using power tools, hand tools, CNC Engraver, CO2 Laser Engraver, panel and table saws, power equipment, weeding and taping, and techniques to construct signage and graphics
• This is not an assembly line position

Best Deal Neon Signs & Awnings Inc is looking for a Sign Production Assistant/Installer to join our amazing team. Our mission is to provide our customers with the highest quality custom signage/installation and the best customer service experience while maintaining a productive, safe, cohesive, happy work environment. We are looking for employees with integrity, honesty, and an exceptional work ethic. Also, must be reliable and on time

Hours: The typical hours for this position are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday, with occasional nights or weekend hours.

Benefits/Perks:

• Position is full-time, with some overtime, and starting pay is between $25.00 - $30.00/hour depending on qualifications and experience.
• Sign Production Assistants/Installers will gain hands on trade skills and experience

Sign Production/Installers are responsible for:

Sign Production/Installer Qualifications:

• Fabrication, production, and/or manufacturing experience
• Ability to follow a work order to accurately prepare substrates, which may include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and or sanding.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination
• Ability to perform quality assurance measures pre and post construction and/or installation, by accurately reading and proofing for errors or unacceptable standards (bubbles, ragged edges, wrong output, etc.)
• Ability to independently lift and/or carry 50 lbs, bend, stand for long periods of time, climb a ladder or stairs, and keep up in an extremely fast-paced work environment
• Must be comfortable driving large work trucks
• Must have a clean driving record, and be able to clear Federal Government background checks and military base clearances.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
