Best Brains at Ashburn, VA is looking for enthusiastic part-time teachers. Teachers must be state-certified or have a teaching certificate to apply.

The ideal candidate is

• Comfortable working with children aged 3-14 years
• Proficient in Math and English curriculum
• Able to multitask and work with up to 5 students at a time
• Available Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday evenings
• Has a degree in teaching or similar
• Punctual and organized

Primary duties are

• Creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students
• Teaching/ providing instruction to the students
• Assess student progress and provide timely written feedback on assignments
• Meeting with parents and discussing their child's progress from time to time
• Minimal grading

There is no need to develop lesson plans. A comprehensive curriculum and teaching materials will be provided.

We offer consistent hours and competitive pay. This is a year-round position and you must be available for the following days and times:

• Wednesdays 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM
• Thursdays 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM
• Saturdays 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
• Weekends as needed
