Best Brains Learning Center is Hiring an English Teacher Near Middletown, DE

Best Brains Middletown, a learning center, is seeking a State Certified Teacher to teach Math and English to students. Class sizes are small, and students range from 3 to 14 years old. No lesson planning required, everything that you will need is provided. We provide consistent hours and competitive pay. This is a year-round, part-time position with flexible hours.

Job Type: Part-time

Location: Middletown

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional instruction/ tutoring services to students
  • Proven experience as a teacher
  • Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methodology
  • Participate in positive interactions with parents and establish a high level of confidence and program value
  • Familiarity with classroom management techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to listen and respond quickly to ensure children's safety
  • Assess students’ progress throughout instructional sessions, and work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students
  • Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework
  • Patience, passion, creativity, strong communication skills with children
  • Certification in child CPR (optional) COVID Vaccination preferred but not required
  • Ability to remain calm during heated discussions with children

Qualifications

  • State certification to teach at the Elementary/middle/high school grade Math/English
  • Energetic individual who can make learning fun.
  • Reliably commute to work.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained
