Best-Aire Compressor Service is looking for an Parts/Inventory Specialist in our Greenfield, IN location.

Best-Aire is a leader in the distribution of industrial and mechanical equipment. From our 5 locations, Best-Aire is the expert in the sales and service of air compressors, air dryers, and blowers and we offer a full-service center to repair all brands of compressed air equipment. There are many opportunities for growth in our team environment.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Responsible for ordering parts and supplies as needed by service technicians and customers.
• Maintain onsite inventory, and inventory in fleet
• Open and close parts jobs and update customer information.
• Obtaining all customer information and keeping maintenance records current.
• Assist customer, service technicians and sales staff with locating required parts.
• Responsible for coordinating/tracking freight and ups shipments.
• Responsible for packaging parts/equipment for shipment.
• Check in stock orders.
• Answering telephone calls from customers and technicians.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have computer skills, be motivated with ability to interact and communicate effectively.
• Highly organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically able to move and lift 50 pound items.
• Forklift operator qualified
• Load and unload trucks.
• Proficient with excel and word.
• Knowledge of Quickbooks or similar system is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills are a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
