The Operations Manager – 23 North oversees operational activity and production processes for the Masonry and Hardscape business at our 23 North location to meet operational objectives and improve processes, quality, efficiency, and costs.

1. Leads and motivates a team to achieve operational excellence.
2. Provides guidance, coaching, and support to a team, helping to foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
3. Identifies opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
4. Implements best practices to enhance productivity and capacity, while also reducing operational costs.
5. Analyzes and improves organizational process and workflow, employee and space requirements, equipment layout, and facility/warehouse capacity requirements.
6. Collaborates with senior management to contribute to the development of the company’s strategic goals.
7. Implements strategic initiatives that support the Company’s objectives and goals.
8. Manages people resources and ensures staffing requirements are met.
9. Oversees supply chain processes, ensuring timely procurement of materials and efficient inventory management.
10. Manages logistics and distribution channels to optimize product delivery and customer satisfaction.
11. Develops strategies to automate manufacturing processes.
12. Implements and monitors quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed established standards.
13. Develops and manages the operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
14. Ensures a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and best practices.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management or related field.
Experience: Five years of experience in a manufacturing management role.
Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational and personal leadership skills. Must understand manufacturing methods, machine capabilities, and workflow through the production facility. Knowledge of all activities that occur before a job hits the production floor. Good product knowledge required with an understanding of lean enterprise application and analysis. Familiarity with Epicor business system preferred.
Requirements: Shift work and travel may be required.
