Bespoke Psych is Hiring a Medical Biller Near Chicago, IL

Job Summary

We are looking for a Medical Biller to assist our Billing Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing and coding, as well as experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. This individually would assist with daily management of our medical billing department.

We used AdvancedMD for our billing software. Experience with this software is a MUST.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Electronic and paper claims filing using AdvancedMD.
· Prepare and process billing transactions, adjustments.
· Scanning of EOBs / documentation of insurance and patient correspondence.
· Claim and denial follow up and appeals.
· Work with insurance companies for audits, record requests, etc.
· Assist with meeting monthly close deadlines with billing and accounts payable.
· Provide guidance and oversight to a team of virtual billing assistants.

Education & Experience

· 5 years of billing experience minimum. Management experience strongly preferred.
· Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT-coding, physician billing and experience filing insurance claims required. Certified CPC, CPB or CRCR preferred. Bachelors degree preferred.
· Psychiatry billing experience preferred.
· Strong verbal, written communication, and customer service skills required.
· Detail oriented, problem solver/analytical, flexible and self-motivated.
· Organized ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
