Besa’s Pizza is a spinoff of 2022 Eater Magazine’s Best Pizza in DFW, Besa’s Italian Restaurant in Garland, TX. With a simpler menu compared to the Original Besa’s, the award winning pizza will be the star of the show, with other made-to-go offerings like subs, salads, and desserts also making the cut. The pizzeria will exclusively serve carryout and delivery orders (service staff not needed). This role will be at the flagship Besa’s Pizza location in Grapevine, TX, with expansion plans on the horizon. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and growing our brand while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and cook pizzas with precision and attention to detail, following our recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent quality.

· Toss and stretch pizza dough to achieve the perfect thickness and size for each pizza.

· Layer pizzas with delicious sauces, cheeses, and toppings, catering to customer preferences and dietary requirements.

· Operate pizza ovens and monitor cooking times to achieve the ideal crust texture and toppings melting point.

· Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.

· Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow and timely pizza preparation.

Requirements:

· Experience as a pizza maker or similar role in a pizza restaurant setting.

· Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

· Attention to detail, ensuring each pizza is consistent and meets our high-quality standards.

· Basic math skills for measuring and portioning ingredients accurately.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as per the demands of the pizzeria.

Preferred Qualities:

· Passion for creating delectable pizzas and exploring new flavor combinations.

· Positive attitude and hardworking, with a roll-up-the-sleeves mentality.

· Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen staff.

Working Hours:
