Berwyn is Hiring a Customer Service Specialist Near Fort Washington, PA

Longevity Holdings (doing business through its subsidiaries ITM TwentyFirst, ITM, The Berwyn Group, Inc., Maple Life Analytics, LexServ, Fasano & Associates and PBI Research Services) is a fast growing company that provides senior longevity data, analytics and services to the pension, benefits, life insurance, structured settlement, and life settlement markets.
As a Customer Service Specialist you provide highly accurate and timely services to Berwyn’s clients and their customers.
Job Duties Include:
  • Answer Incoming calls to confirm or update mailing Address and Telephone numbers and answer questions about stale dated checks being reissued
  • Placing an average of 20-25 Outbound Telephone calls per hours contacting individuals to confirm or update mailing Address and Telephone number
  • Work independently on a team of 5-8 customer service specialists in a call center environment
  • Navigate between 2-3 proprietary software applications using keyboard shortcuts and computer mouse in order to update participant’s records
  • Utilize recommended scripts and provide an exceptional level of courtesy, professionalism, and respect
  • Communicate through Microsoft Teams and Outlook with the call center team and manager
Required Skills:
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business or a similar focus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • Adaptability as well as the aptitude and desire to learn
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
Preferred consideration given for:
  • Ability to interpret and speak Spanish for our Spanish speaking clients
  • Experience using a proprietary software system/database
  • Experience in the insurance and/or financial services industries
