Job Title: RN Medical Med-surg AdultJob Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med-surg Adult team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients, including assessments, treatments, and medication administration. The RN will work closely with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure high-quality care and positive outcomes.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and procedures.2. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.3. Monitor patient progress and update charts and records accordingly.4. Educate patients and families on healthcare procedures, treatments, and medications.5. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines.6. Maintain a safe and clean work environment for patients and staff.7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.Qualifications and Skills:1. Valid RN license in the state of practice.2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred.3. BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.5. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities.6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.7.
