Job Title: RN Interventional RadiologyJob Summary: As an RN Interventional Radiology, you will be responsible for providing patient care in a specialized radiology department that performs minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance. You will assist in procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, biopsies, and catheter insertions to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.Responsibilities and Duties:1. Assist in preparing patients for interventional radiology procedures2. Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-procedure care3. Administer medications as ordered by the physician4. Evaluate and assess patient responses to interventions5. Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort6. Document patient care accurately and timely7. Educate patients and their families about procedures and aftercare instructionsQualifications and Skills:1. Valid RN license in the state of practice2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care nursing3. Certification in Radiology Nursing (CRN) preferred4. BLS and ACLS certification5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment7.
