Job Title: Director of Imaging Services

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Director of Imaging Services to oversee and manage all aspects of our imaging department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure quality imaging services are provided to our patients and staff.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the imaging department
• Oversee staffing and scheduling of imaging services
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines
• Manage budget and financial responsibilities for the imaging department
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate imaging services as needed
• Provide leadership and guidance to imaging staff
• Evaluate and implement new technology and equipment as appropriate
• Maintain inventory of imaging supplies and equipment
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in imaging services

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in imaging services
• ARRT certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards for imaging services
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs
