Berryhill Funeral Home is Hiring a Secretary/Receptionist Near Huntsville, AL

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist/Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle various administrative tasks and provide exceptional customer service.

Duties:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and emails
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Perform clerical duties such as typing, filing, and data entry
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks
- Support office management functions as needed

Skills:
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Secretary, or in a similar role
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently
- Experience in death care industry is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
