Berry Tractor of Topeka is seeking a Aggregate Support and Start up Specialist. If you have previous sales experience, have great customer service skills, and want to be a part of a growing team, apply today!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationships; build confidence and call on customers.
• Assist outside sales representatives on sales calls, trade in requests, and deal completion.
• Visit construction sites, offices, and individual owner/operator sites within territories.
• Promote McCloskey Brand
• Assist the parts department in fulfilling aggregate parts orders
• Create a personalized customer service relationship with new and existing customers.
• Assist in start up of new equipment sales.
• Assist in PDI and trouble shooting of aggregate product lines.
• Responsible for loading, hauling, and unloading of equipment and components.
• Educate decision makers on the benefits of using our equipment and emphasize the advantages of working with Berry Tractor.
• Provide solutions for customers and provide technical sales assistance as needed.
• Continually grow your knowledge base on existing and new products (machinery).
• Keep management informed of significant developments in the territory, including lost sales.
• Sell consumable parts for the equipment that we sell.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Typing and use of computer for quotation generation.
• Familiar with and ability to operate aggregate equipment.
• Organizational ability to schedule, follow-up and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication.
• Attend all sales meetings, trainings and trade shows as required.
• Travel with some overnight as needed to support the sales team.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude to do basic trouble shooting and minor repairs.
• Familiar with and ability to operate aggregate equipment.
• Organizational ability to schedule and follow-up and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication.
• Active listening required.
• Familiar with territory management.
• Familiar with parts sales and systems
• Previous aggregate tech experience a plus

Physical Requirements

• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
• Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance, kneel, stoop, couch, and crawl
• Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
