Responsibilities

• Perform all essential functions that are required for the Maintenance Technician Electrical.
• Perform all essential functions that are required for the Maintenance Technician Mechanical.
• Work with the Maintenance Systems Coordinator to identify areas of improvement, define a action plan and work hand in hand with the PM crew to implement said improvement.
• Work with the Maintenance Systems Coordinator and Augury vibration analysis to predict motor and gear box failures before they cause downtime, then schedule with production a time to implement the repair.
• Ensure all parts are available for planned work / projects.
• Mentor the apprenticeship students as needed.
• Work with vendors to determine root causes and define solutions.
• Increase mean time between non scheduled downtime events.
• Define solutions that will repair the machine better than it was.
• Define, train in the use of and implement best practices.
• Document and report out on before and after successes.
• Track cost savings.

Qualifications

• Associated degree in Applied Science or other technical degree preferred, or 5 years’ experience in industrial maintenance.
• High School diploma or GED
• Must have ability to connect to a PLC and monitor its execution.
• Must be able to use MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Must be able to navigate through JED.
• Must have excellent attendance
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Must be able to work overtime as required
• Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner
• Ability to read and write.
