Berry Companies, Inc. in Wichita, KS is an administrative support group that provides IT, accounting, data processing, payroll, insurance, marketing and financial services to each of its operating divisions. Our eight divisions are engaged in the distribution of Bobcat®, Komatsu®, Hyster® & Yale® construction or material handling equipment.
The ideal candidate will want to learn the construction equipment distribution business and how to perform all branch functions. This job requires flexibility and 100% travel for the duration of the program. Upon completion of the program, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to move into a leadership position, or a support role in any of our 9 equipment divisions. Timeline for the program will be approximately 9-10 months.
This position will be training within our Bobcat divisions. Bobcat of The Rockies, Bobcat of North Texas, White Star Machinery, KC Bobcat, Bobcat of Houston, Bobcat of Indy and Bobcat of Atlanta.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree is required – emphasis in business is helpful but not necessary
High potential – general intelligence and emotional intelligence coupled with common sense and desire for shared success
Flexibility – multiple assignments in various positions and stores in an ever-changing environment and timeline
Self-starter, motivated to work independently while being a team player
Enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment

A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize completing tasks
Bilingual English/Spanish is helpful but not required
Physical Requirements: Varies depending on current assignment – minimal to very heavy
Frequently climbing in and out of equipment, on and off of a trailer and truck bed, in and out of machines
Frequently working with balance on unprotected heights – trailer, truck bed, etc.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to tolerate weather extremes
