Essential Functions

• Responsible for maximizing turf quality using various lawn equipment (e.g., walk behind, stand-on and riders);
• Demonstrates proper edging procedures of lawns and landscape beds using a power edger (e.g., stick edgers);
• Uses a string-trimmer correctly around obstacles on the customer's property;
• Operates a blower correctly and safely around houses, pedestrians, and vehicles;
• Maintains the grounds by collecting trash and debris, and cleaning grass clippings from sidewalks, walkways and beds;
• Performs grounds maintenance functions (e.g., pulling weeds, raking leaves, blowing sidewalks);
• Completes assignments within labor goals while ensuring all job quality performance expectations are met in accordance with company standards
• Thinks ahead and completes tasks efficiently within budget, production rates, and timelines

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of lawn maintenance experience
• Must know how to use basic landscape and relevant tools
• Knowledge of seasonal clean-ups and mulching
• Must be able to follow direction
• Must be able to work both independently and in team environment
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Be willing to learn
