CNC Apprentice/ Machinist Apprentice

Bernman Mold & Engineering (BME) is a mold manufacturing company that has been family-owned and operated since 1994. Our team is highly skilled and personable, and we are looking for new editions! We work on a variety of molds and tooling from a variety of industries; new tooling & old tooling, we have seen it all. We are looking for an individual who is goal-driven, detail-oriented and is willing to learn quickly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities: CNC Apprentice

· Operates and maintains CNC machines to perform jobs including drilling, grinding, and milling.

· Reviews and interprets drawings, instructions, blueprints, and samples to ensure accurate production.

· Check machinery daily to ensure functionality.

· Maintaining clear and honest communication

· Maintaining quality and safety standards

· Take precise and accurate measurements of equipment.

· Control & adjust machine settings (ex. Speed)

· Assist and perform daily set-ups.

Job Responsibilities: Machinist Apprentice

· Review and interpret drawings, instructions, blueprints, and samples to ensure accurate production.

· Assists in building, repairing, and designing new and old tooling.

· Assist the EDM department with Wire EDM Machines and Sinker EDM Machines.

· Use CAD-based programs (ex. SolidWorks) daily

· Disassemble and Assemble Molds on a weekly basis.

· Maintain a clean and organized workspace

· Maintaining clear and honest communication

Qualifications:

· No experience required (We are willing to develop the individual)

· Detail-oriented

· Goal-driven

· Strong computer, analytical, and mathematical skills

· Physical strength and stamina

PAY: $18.00 TO $35.00 PER HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent
