Position Overview:
The Lot Technician will support the Used Car Manager and Sales team. This role's primary responsibilities include receiving, moving, arranging, and maintaining the appearance of vehicles and ensuring the orderliness of the vehicle lot. Other duties include parking cars in assigned areas, checking them for damage, listing and storing keys, assisting managers as requested, and maintaining the property's cleanliness.

Essential Functions:

• Keep the vehicle lot neat and orderly.
• Move cars as directed by the sales managers and follow dealership display standards.
• Keep vehicle batteries charged.
• Keep vehicles cleaned, including removing snow and other debris as necessary.
• Confirm vehicles are gassed up as directed
• Display and replace merchandising as directed
• Assure vehicles are properly secured
• Represent the business well by maintaining a professional appearance and demonstrating sound courtesy and respect to both the customer and the customer's vehicle
• Leave a positive lasting impression on every customer.
• Prompt and efficient handling of work activities requested by managers
• Work in all weather conditions, such as snow, rain, and sunny days. with the ability to shovel snow in the winter months.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check
• Authorized to work in the United States
