JOB SUMMARY The Clean Room Operator will be responsible for operating washer and dryers in the clean room as well as visually inspecting and stacking wipers according to manufacturing orders. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Visually inspect, weigh and stack wipers according to manufacturing orders in a cleanroom environment
Test and determine absorbency rate of wipers
Operate washers and dryers in a clean room environment using assigned procedures
Check scales, label, package, and seal wipers in appropriate bags
Assists with the required periodic cleaning of the cleanroom and report non-confirming product following procedures
Ability to maintain high attention to detail and ensure compliance to standards
Ability to work individually or in a team environment while demonstrating a positive attitude
Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Three to twelve months’ related manufacturing experience
Proven record of exceptional attendance in previous positions
Ability to read and comprehend detailed ISO Work Instructions
Ability to record production related information in writing and electronically
Basic math skills and experience with using a calculator
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods sitting/standing for up to four hours at a time
Ability to go up and down a step stool
Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs., including while going up and down a step stool to load machines
Use of hands to sort and stack wipers with simple grasping
Some exposure to and operation of machinery
Ability to gown per ISO Class 4 Clean Room standards (bouffant, full gown, safety glasses, mask, latex gloves, boots).
Some pulling down from above shoulder height
Pushing and pulling (wheeled carts/bins)
Ability to reach and pull wipers out of washers and dryers
