INTAKE SPECIALIST/GREETER – FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE
THE PASS is an adult-use recreational cannabis business led by experienced entrepreneurs from the spirits, cannabis and marketing industries. We are located in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts’ southernmost town of Sheffield.
This position is responsible for greeting and welcoming our customers. Being the first friendly face, our customers see upon walking through our door is a crucial role to The Pass brand. Intake specialists/ greeters will assist customers through the intake process, check for a valid ID, provide an introduction to our in-store experience, and will answer any questions the customer may have. Our greeter will be a key part of the customer experience. Must be comfortable with interacting with customers and ensuring that all campus rules are adhered to.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Responsible for being the first impression of the store by greeting customers as they come and go from the dispensary in a pleasant manner, and being the stores’ first compliance checkpoint.
- Verify customer IDs and ensure customers meet security requirements.
- Tasked with controlling the traffic and flow of customers.
- Ability to inform and explain shifting marketing promotions.
- Patrol parking lot to ensure compliance rules are being followed.
- Stay up to date and compliant on cannabis rules and regulations set forth internally and by the CCC.
- Handle difficult customers in a professional manner.
- Answering the phone and responding to dispensary inquiries, as well as taking messages and/or fielding calls to appropriate dispensary staff members.
- Undergo continuing education and improvement training programs paid for and facilitated by the company.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- Customer Service experience a must.
- Security experience preferred.
- Must be able to perform repetitive, tedious tasks without error.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make adequate judgements as necessary.
- Working understanding of compliance and legality.
- Base knowledge about cannabis.
- Dependability, emotional control, professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to follow instructions while managing multiple tasks.
- Fluent reporting skills.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must be able to meet all shift requirements with regularity, predictability and consistency.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
- The Greeter must be able to stand for long periods of time with appropriate breaks.
- Greeters must be tolerant of the weather and elements, as their primary position is outside.
- Greeter will also assist in setting up and moving products around the facility and must be able to lift 50 pounds.
