Berkshire Mountain Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to join our team, offering a starting pay of $18-$22/hr!

Available shift: 7pm-7:30am (full-time)

POSITION SUMMARY & PURPOSE

The Behavioral Health Technician ensures patient care within medical and clinical settings like detox, residential, PHP, IOP, or OP. Responsibilities include assisting patients in skill development, group settings, and fostering self-reliance across various life aspects like living, learning, and socializing. The role also involves overseeing patient care during substance use treatment, including:

• Facilitates treatment procedures
• Patient admissions and discharges
• Medication administration
• Health screening assessments
• Drug testing
• Facilitates individual and group wellness
• Clinical documentation
• Patient monitoring and supervision

EDUCATIONAL & SKILL REQUIREMENTS

The Behavioral Health Technician requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with:

• 1 year of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting (minimum), 3 years (preferred)
• Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation
• Valid CPR/First Aid certifications, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• High level of confidentiality
• Exceptional display of verbal and written communication
• Ability to successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and MVR

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
