WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Collaborating with the Premium Audit Manager, the Premium Audit Technician will develop a strong technical knowledge of premium audit processes and procedures in order to perform special projects as assigned by company leadership or as situation dictates. This individual will serve as a key resource for the Premium Audit leadership team in driving on-going process improvement in order to provide best in class service to internal partners and external clientele. 

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING

• Monitors, documents, and responds to internal/external audit inquiries.
• Identifies returns for correction (RFC’s) from agents/ policyholders, acknowledging receipt, and timely routing to RFC team for resolution.
• Identifies and acknowledges audit disputes. Collects and determines validity of value-added information and timely forwards to dispute resolution team.
• Conducts self-directed research on applicable bureau websites and call centers.
• Serves as change agent in driving on-going process improvements in compliance and process efficiency.
• Performs other related duties or special projects as assigned by company leadership or as situation dictates. 

• EDUCATION: Minimum of Associate’s degree in business administration, accounting, or related field. 
• EXPERIENCE: 1 - 2 years of related work experience preferred but not required.
• MATH ABILITY: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should demonstrate typing skills, Mircosoft Suite knowledge, etc.
