Actuarial Assistant - Homeowners

• Assist in actuarial analysis of insurance company rates, coverage terms and rating rules
• Assist in the quarterly reserve analysis
• Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings
• Collaborate with Underwriting and Sales in product development and program management

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or another field with a rigorous mathematics background.
• One year of actuarial experience and successful completion of one or more actuarial exams of the Casualty Actuarial Society is helpful but not required. Will consider entry level.
• Results-oriented with the ability to multi-task and adjust priorities when necessary
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Experience with relational databases is a plus
