Berkshire Eye Center is now accepting applications for candidates who are professional, have a positive attitude and value quality customer service. Ophthalmology or medical experience is preferred, but we are willing to provide in-house training and continuing educational opportunities to the right candidate. Certification (COA, COT) is welcomed. This position is a vital part of the team and requires the ability to clearly and effectively communicate with our patients, doctors and staff.
Primary responsibilities will include: Rooming patients, obtaining patient’s medical histories, checking intraocular pressures and performing various tests on patients such as retractions, A-scans, OCTs and visual fields.
Applicants must also be reliable, eager to learn, and have flexibility with their schedules. Computer experience and multi-tasking is required.
