Ready to take your residential construction experience to the next level? We're currently hiring a Superintendent II to join our amazing team. As a Superintendent II, you'll be responsible for managing the home building process by enforcing company work guidelines, upholding schedules and staying within budget. Under the direction of the Regional Production Manager, the Superintendent II is responsible for managing the home building process by enforcing company work guidelines, upholding schedules and staying within budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for completing home per plans specification and applicable building codes
• Manages and develops employees by; establishing clear directions; distributing the workload appropriately and laying out work in a well-planned and organized manner
• Clearly communicates by maintaining two-way dialogue with others on work and results to ensure workload being produced is at the highest quality while maintaining a timely level of production at all times
• Performs pre-construction site evaluations
• Maintains highest level of quality during construction
• Inspects jobs during all phases of construction to ensure that homes are constructed according to the designated plans and specifications
• Works with Trade Partners to ensure homes remain on schedule and within budget
• Schedules and meets with customers to perform pre-construction meeting, pre-drywall/electrical walk through, homeowner orientation and zero defect
• Performs regular quality inspections of finished spec homes and maintain as required
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with land developers, municipalities, sales representatives, vendors and Trade Partners
• Strongly focuses on maintaining community appearance
• Ensures job sites are kept clean and free of construction debris and ready for each Trade Partner
• Safeguards job sites for inclement weather
• Updates customers weekly on job status
• Meets weekly with the Regional Production Manager and sales representatives to review job status
• Participates in production meetings
• Reviews and approves vendor invoices, VPOs/POs
• Performs minor cleanup, repair, and punch list items as needed
• Participates in Homeowner Emergency On-Call rotation
• Provides feedback to Purchasing, Warranty and Drafting Departments to correct plans and purchase order deficiencies to eliminate VPO’s and service requests
• Performs erosion and sediment reports weekly and after every rain event
• Verifies material deliveries match POs
• Other duties as assigned
