The Berkeley Yacht Club (BYC) was established in 1939 to develop and promote aquatic sports. We welcome everyone interested in being out on the water. BYC prides itself on being an active participant in supporting the community in which we live. We are a small club (~200 members) sitting at the edge of the Berkeley Marina.

**Overview:**

BYC prides itself on being an active participant in supporting the community in which we live. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Club Manager to oversee the operations of our club. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and team management, ensuring the smooth running of the club on a day-to-day basis.

**Responsibilities:**

- Care for members and their guests, inquire as to their needs, render assistance and generally demonstrate a friendly, welcoming and helpful attitude

- Manage all aspects of club operations, including staff management, customer service, and facility maintenance

- Manager all aspects of events including adquate staffing, supplies and communication

- Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations (ABC, Health & Safety, employment, etc.) and club policies

- Administer the Club's communications, including distributing email, answering the phone, promptly returning phone messages, maintaining the online calendar, and assist with updating the Club website

**Experience:**

- Proven experience in management or a similar role

- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks effectively

- Proficiency in team management and fostering a positive work environment

- Exceptional customer service skills to enhance member satisfaction

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
