This position, within the Planning Department, reports to the Manager, Planning and Business Process, and works closely with the Production Management team. This position requires excellent organization, communication, and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Cut Manufacturing Orders within ERP and MES and schedule to the appropriate production department.
• Schedule sales orders for pick and pack operation.
• Utilize the Open Order Report to run the daily SIOP meeting, setting priorities for QC, Purchasing, Logistics, Sales and Import/Export, to support meeting required ship dates.
• Ensure action items identified at the SIOP meeting are appropriately documented and assigned.
• Works with Customer Service, Purchasing, and Production to schedule batches in accordance with customer required dates
• Update the Tank Schedule, Production Schedule, and Tank Log on a continuous basis, with input of the Production Management team.
• Optimize inventory by making the most efficient use of partial lots.
• Liaison with Production, QC, R&D, Regulatory, Purchasing, and Creative staff as necessary.
• Manage Make-For-Stock items and produce floor stock based on review of current stock and customer requirements
• KPI data collection, analysis, and presentation as assigned. KPI’s include, but not limited to, On Time Performance.
• Assist with management of Toll Work/External Manufacturing inventory as assigned.
• Serve on teams and work with others to address process improvements, waste elimination, and the development of new or updated SOP’s.
• Assist with assignments and tasks related to ERP and MES implementation and ongoing improvement activities.
• Troubleshoot BOM issues in ERP and MES
• Work with Manager, Planning & Business Process and Production to understand capacity constraints in production and scheduling efficiencies.
• Responsible for the execution of all Production-related Change Orders and Rush Orders.

Education & Experience

• Batchelor Degree in Business Administration or Management or equivalent work experience.
• Proficient in MS Office including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Technology
• Proficiency in MES/ERP systems such as IBM iSeries, SAP, BatchMetrics, DataNinja and Netsuite

Skills And/or Physical Requirements

• Good overall knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Berje’s overall order process
• Effective usage of Berje’s ERP/computer systems:
• Familiarity of Berje’s Rush Order Process and Standard Lead Times
• Knowledge of order status codes
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Communication & interpersonal skills for working co-operatively/effectively in a team environment.
