Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Care Workers. As a Community Care Worker, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their well-being and promoting their independence. Responsibilities: - Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes or community settings - Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration - Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans - Support individuals in developing and maintaining social skills - Engage individuals in recreational activities and community outings - Collect and maintain accurate data on individual progress and behaviors - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certification) - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or related field preferred - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Ability to pass background checks and drug screening - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Skills: - Medication administration - Special education - Direct support - Driving (valid driver's license required) - Working with people with developmental disabilities - Caregiving - Data collection - Working with people with autism - Childcare - Social work We offer competitive pay rates, flexible schedules, and opportunities for career advancement.
