Bergamot Massage Therapy & Bodywork is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist/Spa Attendant -- Part-Time Near Madison, WI

Job Summary

Bergamot Massage Therapy and Bodywork is looking for a personable, skilled, and motivated candidate to join our team as a Receptionist/Spa Attendant. Our business has been in operation for 15 years and is located on the beautiful west side of Madison. We are looking for YOU to join the Bergamot family and help us continue to grow and thrive. This Job offers an amazing relaxation atmosphere of massage and healing, with the close-knit feel of a family who cares. We are a small business of around 15 employees providing one of the top massage experiences in the Madison area. Our owners are not only available daily, but they work right beside other therapists and reception as well.

We are looking to hire one individual for this position. The ideal candidate would be available to work Monday - Wednesday 10am-2pm, and weekends as needed.

Job Duties

  • Scheduling clients
  • Creating insurance documentation for clients
  • Responding to emails
  • Daily laundry responsibilities
  • Answering phone calls
  • Processing client orders and tickets
  • Coordination of therapist work hours
  • Greeting and assisting clients
  • Maintaining a cohesive front desk environment / keeping an organized work space
  • Paperwork input/ data entry
  • Opening/closing Business
  • Product selling
  • Inventory management possible
  • Note taking/ keeping minutes of meetings or written reports
  • Cleaning, laundry, tea service
  • Sauna set-up cleaning
  • Ensure guest satisfaction

Required Experience

  • Customer Service: 1 years
  • High school Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Experience

  • Retail background
  • Previous experience in a spa setting or with scheduling software
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Ability to resolve customer conflicts Preferred Experience/ Background
  • Experience in a hospitality role
  • Spa attendant knowledge or experience
  • Education in Human Resource or previous work experience equivalent

Additional Procedures Taking Place

  • Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
