Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Duration: 12months contract

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics
3-5 years experience in manufacturing industry directly supporting assembly operations
Methods, maintenance or factory production support specialized in high volume OR
Realization and development of specialized machines
3-5 years experience industrialization of new products
Receiving new products into operations facility, OR
Realization of industrial process in operations facility with new product
Application on Lean and Six Sigma techniques Experience in Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, Value Stream mapping, Kaizen events, Visual Workplace, etc.)
Examples of continuous improvement, both to existing processes and launch of new ones, positively impacting safety, quality, and overall labor efficiency metrics
Technical abilities:AutoCAD/Creo (ProE) or Solidworks/Simulation or production modeling tools (Lanner Witness, Rockwell Arena or equivalent)/MicrosoftVisio/SAP/Basic understanding of PLC programming/Basic understanding of MES / MIS systems/Familiar with vision systems (Cognex, Keyence)
/Familiar with motion controllers and actuators (IAI, Yasakawa)/Experience with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Able to work within a multidisciplinary and multicultural project team: Technical, Purchasing, Industrialization, Marketing, Quality on projects lasting one to three years and will ensure the link with the operations facility (participation in design and peer reviews for concept selection)
Demonstrate ability to perform root cause analysis and develop action plans to strategically eliminate barriers
