JOB
The Foundation and Corporate Relations Manager supports the activities of the department of Corporate, Foundation and Family Relations, with specific focus on managing foundation reports and successfully soliciting foundations and corporations in support of the Berea Fund and other College targeted initiatives. The Manager will write a high volume of foundation reports, proposals, and other communications. This position will also help create internal reports tracking progress with foundations and corporations to ensure the team meets internal and external deadlines
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Develop foundation and corporation grant reports and proposal materials in support of the Berea Fund and other strategic initiatives.Develop, update and produce collateral materials.Submit 40 or more proposals for new or renewed support annually.Collaborate with philanthropy officers to complete and record scheduled correspondence, primarily proposals and reports.Ensure the team meets internal and external due dates for correspondence, while observing foundation preferences.In collaboration with the Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations and the Director of Foundation Relations and Family Philanthropy, the Manager will work to engage corporate and foundation prospects for the College by creating compelling proposals tailored to each prospect?s interests and philanthropic objectives.Write specialized acknowledgments to foundations and corporations as needed.Assist Donor Experiences and Services staff in proofreading and editing donor recognition lists.
