As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for serving customers by selling products; meeting customer needs, providing excellent customer service, and working in a team environment.

Essential Job Functions:
Sell products and/or services to meet the customer’s needs
Maintain customer goodwill by greeting and acknowledging all customers they come in contact with.
Maximize sales performance through strong relationships with clients and awareness of their needs, both existing and potential clients
Record all sales and/or customer transactions that occur
Follow company cash, credit, and check process procedures
Processes cores, warranties, and new return merchandise as required at the point of sale
Complete training courses or classes assigned by management to maintain proficiency outlined in the job description
Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales and activity quotas
Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of the company and its products, research consumer needs, and identify how our solutions can address those needs
Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and quarterly portfolio
Work closely with other departments to make sure the customer is getting the correct product
Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and/or two years sales specialist/agent experience
Excellent computer skills and strong attention to detail
Able to take direction and follow instructions
Ability to work in a team environment in high pressure situations
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
Preferred knowledge in auto parts
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally required to stand and walk
Frequently required to sit
Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
Frequently required to talk or hear
Occasionally exposure to wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather)
Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
Occasionally exposure to outside weather conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate loud
The employee must frequently lift and/or move more than 25 pounds
