As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of parts to professional customers.

Operate company-supplied van safely and without accidents. Keep the company vehicle in excellent condition.
Exhibit a willingness to work overtime to get the job done
Essential Job Functions:
Drive a company vehicle to deliver parts and products to customers and pick up customer returns. Route typically includes 10-15 stops per day. Up to 250 miles roundtrip.
Complete tasks through various applications (Whip Around, Part Car Relocate, Picture app, Skype, and Concur)
Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service
Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations
Report vehicle maintenance needs through Whip Around app
Drive safely and defensively, adhering to all company safety standards
Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
Check with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter representative or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
Deliver parts to the warehouse when needed for distribution to the appropriate technicians
Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up
Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery
Turn in all COD ‘s from route into security box.
Handle basic maintenance of the vehicle including filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed.
Perform related duties as assigned
Work overtime as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and/or at least one (1) year delivery driving experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Familiarity with automotive parts
Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences and perform basic math
Excellent decision making skills and ability to self-direct
Good interpersonal communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
Must have a valid class C driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per department standards
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy objects, as well as the ability to load and unload them from vehicle
Ability to lift/load/unload up to 75 lbs.
Travel Requirements:
Must be willing to travel to both Rancho Cordova and Marysville locations.
