As Yard Help, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the dismantling yard, by supporting the placement of vehicles.

Essential Job Functions :

Support Production Forklift Driver with aligning cars in the yard

Move / carry tires to specific locations to use a lift to cars

Maintenance of the yard (Dust control, landscape within fenced area, irrigation system)

Seasonal projects to maintain a clean and safe environment

Work on road maintenance to provide drivable lanes for operations

Work special projects with guidance from leader

Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED and / or one (1) year experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Broad understanding of automotive repair and maintenance

Forklift experience

Excellent decision making skills and ability to self-direct

Strong verbal communication skills

Good time management & organization skills

Physical Requirements :

Must be able to perform a variety of task in all kinds of weather / seasons

Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy objects

Ability to lift / load / unload up to 75 lbs.

Will be required to wear proper PPE (steel toed boots, rain gear)
