Responsibilities of a Commercial Collections Specialist include:

• Effectively handle high volume of inbound and outbound B2B collections calls
• Contact debtor companies on behalf of our clients to discuss repayment options, establish repayment agreements and secure payment
• Communicate with debtors in a clear and professional manner on the telephone to assist them in finding solutions to resolve delinquent obligations
• Record accurate and detailed notes; update account status and company information into collection database
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly performance goals, deadlines and objectives
• Utilize technology and tools to research companies/guarantors and business information with the goal of developing additional contacts
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications of a Commercial Collections Specialist include:

• Excellent phone etiquette
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to create a sense of urgency
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well organized with ability to multi-task
• Intermediate computer skills
• Skip-tracing and asset investigation
• Coachable: receptive to feedback and strive for continuous improvement

Physical Qualifications:

• Be able to lift a minimum of 5 pounds
• Be able to sit 90% of the workday at times
• Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
• Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
• Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour workweek schedule

The Commercial Collections Specialist position is an hourly rate position with a generous bonus plan, monthly commission opportunity is uncapped.

This is a full-time, full benefit position.
