Bennett Tool & Die, LLC is Hiring a Stamping Press Operators Near Kansas City, KS

Allegiant Manufacturing, formerly Bennett Tool & Die LLC, a one stop source for metal working solutions including stamping, fabrication, value-added assembly, tooling & machining, located in Kansas City, Kansas, has an opportunity for Stamping Press Operator first and second shifts. Our 2nd shift operates from 2:15 pm to 12:45 am Monday through Thursday. The desired candidate has basic metal stamping knowledge involving working around or within an area that includes presses.

We strive to provide competitive wages & benefits to our employees. Our 2nd shift earns a $1.50 per hour shift premium.

Shift and Hours:

1st-6:00am to 2:30pm-Monday thru Friday

2nd-2:15pm to 12:45am-Monday thru Thursday

Essential Functions

Required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms to handle material

Must be safety conscience always and exercise great care regarding the equipment, materials and the safety of others and oneself.

Operates single stroke press and auxiliary equipment in a safe and correct manner.

Performs and documents required visual and physical quality inspections as indicated by control plan/operator check sheet.

Pushes button or depress pedal to activate machine.

Stack, label, pack, and transport finished workpieces
Basic metal stamping knowledge
Experience around or with stamping presses
Knowledge and use of measuring devices such as calipers and micrometers

Desired Qualifications

One year metal stamping experience preferred. We are willing to train an individual with proven mechanical skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently
Stand on an antifatigue mat and walk on concrete over the course of a 10-hour shift
Ability to operate a forklift after training and licensing
