BENEVOLENT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES INC is Hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Near Lancaster, CA

Job Summary:

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst will be responsible for providing direct clinical care to children in the program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical care to children in the program.
  • Provide direct clinical support to the BCBA as needed.
  • Participate in the development of individualized treatment plans for each child.
  • Collaborate with other team members and supervisors on a daily basis to implement programs and activities designed to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being.
  • Complete daily documentation of client progress.
  • Maintain a current knowledge base on best practices in best-practice practices for children with autism and or other developmental disabilities.
  • Attend professional development conferences, training, and or workshops as needed to stay abreast of current knowledge related to the field of behavior analysis.
  • Participate in team meetings as needed to discuss issues that may impact the overall program or clients.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Skills Required and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, parents, and other members of the community.
  • Able to recognize problems, make decisions, and take action without supervision.
  • Able to communicate effectively with others without regard to subject matter or status.
  • Able to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Able to perform basic math calculations (subtraction, addition, division).
  • Able to walk up and down stairs as required by community standards as determined by management.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time without assistance.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour

Compensation package:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

  • BCBA (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:
