Accounts Receivable Supervisor (Troy, MI)
Summary – The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will supervise the accounts receivable staff, update financial records, and collect the revenue generated by processing all invoices. You will also oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic goals of the accounts receivable cycle through management, maintenance, implementation, and design of all accounts receivable business procedures and functions for the entire accounts receivable collection process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Accurate and timely generation of month end client invoicing
- Monitoring of outstanding AR and timely follow up with Plan Managers/Plan Associates
- Staff development in all phases of the monthly AR build
- Liaison for Plan Manager/Plan Associates
- Development of routine month end reports relating to AR
- Contribute to the integration of new AR coming from “add on's”
- Prepare accurate year end schedules relative to Interim and Annual Audit
- Timely submit audit sampling requests
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department
- Complete periodic staff evaluations
- Staff development
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
Qualifications
- NetSuite ERP AR experience
- Advanced skills relative to NetSuite ERP AR modules
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; pivot tables, VLOOKUP, analyzing and formatting data, use of filters and managing workbooks
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team building and development
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skill
- Strong supervisory and leadership skill
- Thorough understanding of policies and procedures used in accounts receivable and billing
Education and/or Experience
- 5-7 years AR experience in a working supervisory capacity
- Experience in a multi subsidiary environment
- Associate degree or related experience
Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend legal documents and communicate professionally and clearly. Strong language and writing skills are required.
Reasoning Ability - Understand and carry-out detailed written or verbal instructions. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills are necessary.
Travel - No travel required.
Physical Demands - Sustained periods of sitting and keyboarding. Occasional lifting and carrying of boxes of documents, typically “banker-box” size.
Work Schedule - Full-time. Monday – Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.
Requires in-office days but also offers at-home flexibility after 90 days.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year. Actual salary is dependent on skills, experience, education, and other business factors.
