Benesch is proud to announce the opening for a Conflicts & Intake Specialist in our Cleveland office! This position is hybrid and has work from home flexibility. The hours for this position are either 9 am to 5:30 pm or 10 am to 6:30 pm.

Position Summary:

Are you looking to take your conflicts experience to the next level? Or maybe you've dabbled in conflicts as a paralegal or legal assistant and want to branch out and focus on that aspect of the legal world? Then you may be interested in this Conflicts & Intake Specialist position. This role is perfect for an inquisitive problem solver with a background in conflicts who is detail-oriented and desires a strong sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

The Conflicts & Intake Specialist plays a key role in processing conflicts checks and new client intake. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on performing analysis and research.

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for performing all necessary data entry for new or revised conflict searches.
  • Researches new clients through Dunn & Bradstreet and other resources to provide a comprehensive view of the new client.
  • Assists in the preliminary analysis of conflicts checks.
  • Reviews and approves client/matter intake submissions according to Firm approved guidelines on a daily basis and revises all client intake forms and distributes to appropriate personnel.
  • Follows the Firm's Records Retention Policy, Procedures and Schedules.
  • Responsible for actively participating in the clean-up of data within Intapp and Elite to maintain the integrity and accuracy of conflict results, as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Due to the nature of your employment, various documents and information, which are of confidential nature, will come into your possession. Such documents and information must be kept confidential at all times.

Qualifications:

The Conflicts & Intake Specialist must possess a High School Diploma, strong organizational skills and must be able to handle many priorities at once. Two to three years of experience in a law firm with knowledge of conflicts and intake process and requirements helpful. Attention to detail and accuracy are a must. Flexibility to work overtime if needed. Proficiency in keyboarding skills as well as knowledge of basic computer skills, including but not limited to, Word and Outlook. Experience with Intapp Open preferred. Must possess an excellent customer service attitude.
