We are excited to present you with an opportunity to join a growing team as a Cloud Engineer in our Sunrise, Florida location. The right candidate will have exceptional organizational, analytical, and proactive skills in Cloud Engineering. The Cloud Engineer is responsible for configuring, monitoring, and continuously improving our cloud infrastructure while ensuring that our compliance and security controls are being enforced. 

The Ideal candidate will be identifying optimization opportunities within our cloud infrastructure and services, will be ensuring that security best practices are being enforced at all times, and execute frequent reviews of our controls in order to identify any remediation opportunities. 

The selected candidate will also work on a variety of projects that include but are not limited to HITRUST remediation, documenting the cloud environment and services, setting up and configuring new environments and services, generating necessary reports for required compliance reviews, researching new tools and methods to improve our environment, and improving our current tool sets through further automation. 

The Cloud Engineer will also provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical assistance, answering questions, and resolving cloud infrastructure related issues. The IT Cloud/Security Engineer will report directly to the Sr. Director, IT Infrastructure

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensuring that all Azure Cloud and Office 365 services remain healthy and up to date. 
  2. Ensures that security controls which safeguard access to IT resources are in place and performing as expected
  3. Performs health and security assessments of internal processes and systems; recommends mitigating actions 
  4. Consults with internal management and employees on cloud and security topics, and policy interpretation 
  5. Implement enhancements to procedures, best practices and configuration standards 
  6. Monitor, triages and responds to security and health alerts
  7. Evaluate existing cloud controls for security and automation gaps and plan remediation 
  8. Investigates security incidents; creates and distributes related documentation 
  9. Maintains communication with vendors regarding Cloud systems updates and technical support and security products
  10. Researches and recommends cloud and security solutions, to include technology architecture, software and hardware
  11. Coordinates with IT Teams and other departments as necessary on cloud and security initiatives
  12. Understanding of best practices and security controls in office 365 and Azure cloud environment and services
  13. Perform other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  1. Education – Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year College or university in Information technology , or other related field; or Minimum or four (4) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Experience – Azure Cloud skills required: Configuration and deployment of Cloud Technology resources. Includes, but is not limited to Virtual Machines, container instances, SQL Servers, Logic Apps, Run Books, Application Gateways, Virtual Networks, Storage Accounts, etc., Understanding of Azure Infrastructure, Azure specified skills (Active Directory, Cloud, DevOps, Resource Explorer, Sentinel, and Security Center.)Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager Admin Center, Configuration Policies, and Compliance Polices. Office 365; Microsoft Teams, Exchange, Sharepoint, AutopPilot, and Defender Security Center. Cisco Meraki Networks, Teramind, Understanding of Windows operating systems, Teams VOIP, setup and troubleshooting. HALO ITSM.
  3. Communication – Excellent written and oral communication. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
