Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate/Food Delivery Driver. This position requires a combination of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities. The Associate will build connections with households who are food insecure. The position consists primarily of loading delivery vehicles and making food box deliveries in Jefferson, Denver, Adams, and Arapahoe counties. The position will also be working in the warehouse for any task that needs completion such as picking/packing boxes, organizing, cleaning, shipping/receiving, and re-packaging as needed. This position will also make bulk deliveries as needed. This position will develop strong relationships with local food pantries and food suppliers.

The Warehouse and Food Delivery Associate will be responsible for working together with their direct supervisor to ensure the warehouse (Benefits in Action) meets all food and food warehouse safety requirements including but not limited to temperature control, cleanliness, and operation of machinery. The Warehouse Food Delivery Associate will maintain the Benefits in Action inventory of perishable and non-perishable food and supplies. The Warehouse and Food delivery Associate will assist the Food Delivery Hub Coordinator with food and supply ordering as requested.

The Warehouse and Food Delivery Associate will work collaboratively with Benefits in Action finance staff, volunteer management, and the Food Delivery Coordinators to ensure participants receive food timely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the supervisor
- Ensure accuracy of deliveries by verifying items against shipping documents
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during deliveries
- Assist with general warehouse duties such as organizing inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness

• Delivery driving and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational, logistical, and time management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.

• Ability to be flexible and work on a passionate team.
• Willingness to jump in where needed.
• Maintains a valid driver’s license and adequate vehicle, and insurance for transportation to multiple locations including delivery to individuals, hubs, congregate housing sites (mileage reimbursement)
