At Benedictus Group, we pride ourselves on providing a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and visitors. We’re looking for an experienced security professional to join our team as a security site supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for the safety and security of our premises, as well as the people and property on our grounds. You will be responsible for supervising a team of security guards, as well as developing and implementing security protocols and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for investigating any incidents that occur on our premises.

The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience working in security, as well as experience supervising a team. He or she will be a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have the ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all security personnel at the site
  • Ensure that all security staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties
  • Schedule and coordinate security shifts to ensure adequate coverage
  • Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify any security risks or hazards
  • Investigate any incidents that occur on the property and take appropriate action
  • Prepare reports detailing any incidents, accidents, or violations that occur
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all security personnel, including training and certification
  • Monitor CCTV footage and other security systems to detect any suspicious activity
  • Respond to alarms and investigate any potential security breaches
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with law enforcement agencies as needed
  • Conducting security inspections of company assets such as buildings, vehicles, or equipment
  • Acting as a liaison between the company and local law enforcement agencies in cases of crimes on company property or involving company employees
  • Coaching and training security guards to ensure they are familiar with company policies and procedures related to their jobs
  • Coordinating security measures with other departments within the company such as human resources or information technology to ensure that they are compatible with existing security protocols
  • Coordinating security measures with external parties such as contractors, security companies, and government agencies
  • Conducting regular patrol rounds of company facilities at specified times to ensure security and safety measures are being followed
  • Monitoring security systems such as cameras or alarm systems to ensure they are working properly
  • Handling emergency situations such as fires, medical emergencies, or violent incidents by contacting emergency responders such as police or fire departments

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as security supervisor or similar role
  • Thorough knowledge of security procedures and protocols
  • Excellent observational and communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Good physical fitness and stamina
  • Valid security guard D license

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPP, PSP, etc.)
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • Experience with security equipment and surveillance systems
  • Law enforcement experience

Communication skills: Security site supervisors must be able to communicate effectively with their team members and clients. They must be able to explain security procedures and regulations to their team members and ensure that everyone understands their duties and responsibilities. They must also be able to communicate with clients to ensure that they understand the security measures in place and that the site is secure.

Technical knowledge: Security site supervisors need to have a basic understanding of the technology and processes used in security systems. They need to be able to read and interpret security plans, check the functionality of security equipment and ensure that security systems are operating correctly. Security site supervisors also need to be familiar with the security industry and the latest security trends and technology.

Leadership: Security site supervisors often have strong leadership skills, which they use to guide their team and ensure that their company’s security measures are effective. They may also use leadership skills to train new security personnel and ensure that their team is following the company’s security protocols.

Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience: 5 Years Experience as a Supervisor (Preferred)

Security: 5 Years (Preferred)

Language: English (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Security D license (Required)

Pay: $14.00 per hour
