Benchmark Mortgage is Hiring a Lead Generation Specialist/Loan Officer Assistant - Licensed (Hybrid) Near Plano, TX
Position Overview:
Benchmark takes pride in providing excellent customer service and the most efficient loan process to our borrowers. The Lead Generation Specialist/Loan Officer Assistant is an integral part of the Consumer Direct Lending Team, responsible for supporting one or more Loan Originators through generating and qualifying leads, sales assistance, loan coordination, document collection, and customer service.
Ideal candidates for this position have a strong service-oriented mindset, excellent communication skills, and proven organizational skills.
Essential Functions of the Role:
Contact potential customers via phone, email and other communication channels to introduce the Company’s mortgage products and services.
Prescreen leads to determine their eligibility and interest in mortgage products.
Effectively prepare qualified leads for a smooth and seamless transition to the sales team.
Accurately document loan information and interactions in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead qualification and conversion rates.
Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in the lead qualification process.
Contribute to the development and refinement of lead qualification strategies and processes.
Provide administrative and sales support to loan originators.
Collect and distribute documents and information pertinent to the processing and underwriting of the loan.
Assist loan originators in managing the pipeline of loan applications.
Communicate with applicants on behalf of the loan originator/production partner regarding expectations and loan status.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:
One to two years of residential mortgage experience required.
One to two years of experience in lead generation and telemarketing required.
Education/Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be MLO licensed and registered nationally with NMLS.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced environment.
Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant.
Requires normal hearing levels (corrected).
Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.
Requires sitting, bending.
Works effectively with frequent interruptions.
Lifting requirements of 10 lbs. occasionally.
Minimal travel <5%.
