Benchmark Biotech is Hiring a Research Assistant Near Portland, OR

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team. As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our research efforts and contributing to scientific discoveries. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic research environment and gain valuable experience in the field of medical research and development.

Duties:
- Perform various laboratory experiments and procedures under the guidance of senior researchers
- Conduct cell culture, tissue culture, and subject monitoring activities
- Assist with animal physiology studies and data collection
- Conduct documentation review and ensure compliance with FDA regulations
- Assist in data analysis using Excel or other statistical software
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, or related)
- Previous experience in a research setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of cell culture, and tissue culture techniques
- Familiarity with FDA regulations and documentation review processes
- Proficiency in Excel or other statistical software for data analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with a team
