- Ensure the Facilities compliance at all times with all Joint Commission, CMS and State regulatory agencies standards and requirements.
- Provide staff training and education on the Facilities performance initiatives and measures including outcomes measurement and reporting.
- Broad responsibility to protect the Facilities assets from loss.
- Coordinate the loss control efforts and advising management and administration on all potential sources of loss and making recommendations to minimize or eliminate exposure.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Bachelor's degree in nursing our related healthcare field highly preferred. Combination of education and experience considered.
- Four (4) years of experience in quality and risk management/improving organizational performance within a behavioral or psychiatric treatment setting.
- STRONG knowledge of JOINT COMMISSION, State of Utah standards, CMS standards, and any other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
