SUMMARY

Responsible for daily janitorial tasks and general store maintenance, receiving product, and pulling merchandise from our offsite warehouse.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, scrape, wax/polish floors using appropriate machinery to ensure they are clean and presentable
• Clean, disinfect, and restock all restrooms
• Empty all trash and recycling throughout the store
• Accurately and efficiently complete shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching sales orders to packing lists, and distributing product to sales associates for processing
• Organizing warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Pulling merchandise from the warehouse to restock the store as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months or more related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

• Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and customers
• Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock room areas, and register areas
• Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store, including operating our company-owned vehicles (valid driver’s license is required).
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
