The Warehouse night Forklift Operator is responsible for maintaining organized product replenishment and ensure a safe and clean work environment during the performance of various warehouse task. Job duties include:Perform let downs of product inventory into pick slots for selectors to pull for customer ordersDaily replenishment of product inventory to ensure availability of stockSafely transport product through warehouse paths to and from pick slotsRemove debris and clear pick slots prior to adding new product to slot area, ensuring proper rotation of productVerify product descriptions, UPC codes, and slot location when stockingMove inventory from overflow or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas as directedEnsure clearance of pallets and other debris from work areaSegregate unusable pallets or bad pallets throughout work shiftFollow operational and maintenance procedures to maximize the use of warehouse equipment and ensure compliance with safety proceduresPerform equipment checklist prior to beginning work shiftFollow safe lifting procedures and the proper procedures for hand stacking productsIdentify and correct damaged or unstable pallets in pick/overflow slotsReturn equipment to appropriate in clean and operating fashion, ensuring batteries are recharged as neededJob QualificationsMust be 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GEDMust pass drug screen, physical exam, and a pass a motor vehicle and criminal background checkMust be able to work Saturday mornings when neededMust be able to walk extensively and be able to stand for long periods of time (8 – 10 hours)Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrists, hands, feet, and legsMust be able to bend at the waist, stoop to reach into slot locations, and squat to lift heavy items in a proper mannerMust be able to lift 30-60 lbs repetitively and heavier items weighing up to 100 lbs occasionallyMust be able to read slot numbers and product descriptionsMust be able to work in multiple temperature zones (dry, cooler, and freezer)Prior forklift experience (1 year) is requiredPallet jack (mid-rider) experience preferred but not requiredFood industry experience preferredKnowledge of warehouse RF system highly desiredNote: This a Night Position. Typical shift begins at 3PM until orders are completed. Must be available to work Sunday night to be considered for this position.
