The Warehouse Maintenance Associate performs maintenance tasks to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and the building in good working condition. Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment remains in proper working condition.Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actionsAssemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipmentDiagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by using blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessaryUtilize various tools and equipment to perform maintenance of building and equipmentClear debris and dispose of trash in appropriate receptacles as required to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments, cutting torches and welding equipment, and electrical and electronic devicesPerform other duties as required to ensure the upkeep of the building and groundsPerform grounds maintenance dutiesPaint and repair roofs, windows, walls, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall and other parts of building structureJob RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferredAt least six months work experience in a maintenance role preferredAbility to read and interpret guidelines, operating and maintenance instructionsBasic math skills, including, subtraction, fractions, and computing percentagesAble to work in all warehouse temperature zones (Dry, Cooler, Freezer)Must be able to pass a motor vehicle and criminal background check and a pre-employment physical and drug screenMust be available on call as needed (Saturdays and off-hours)Typical work schedule is Sunday - Thursday from 10am to 8pm (Sunday 3pm - 7pm). Must be able to work this schedule to be considered for the position.
