Job Description
Position: Office Professional 1 - General Academic CO Support
Reports to: Assistant Superintendent or Director of Curriculum
Terms of Employment: 12 months
Basic Function: Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Director of Curriculum, and Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, the Office Professional 1 for General Academic Support will assist in the management of:
Grants and assessment management and compliance
Support withSocial Emotional Learning district and community initiatives
McKinney-Vento/Homeless student support coordination
Organization and management of curriculum work
Management of D100 professional development paperwork and staff certification
Organization of required non certified staff evaluations
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Proven experience with Excel and Google Drive
Comfortable learning new platforms essential for the position: Skyward, eschool, and various assessment portals that are essential for the job
Ability to multitask
Strong organizational skills
Ability to demonstrate Service Excellence in all interactions with people
Basic office skills (answering phones, filing, operation of basic office equipment such as copiers, fax, email, electronic calendars, etc.)
Ability to work well and collaborate with others
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with school employees and public
Primary Responsibilities for this posted position
Maintain Federal Grant management spreadsheets to manage spending for all schools
and departments.
Compliance documentation for employees that are grant funded for both District 100 public and private schools.
Collection of family engagement documentation for grant funded schools for both District 100 public and private schools.
Collection of material requisitions for each Title I building; to include ordering, labeling and distribution of instructional materials.
Serve as liaison between private school staff and Central Office supervisor. Process private school orders for private schools receiving Federal grant funds.
Assist with collecting information for Comparability Report and Monitoring Report.
Organize conference registration and maintain records for appropriate grant funded personnel.
Assist with organization and parent communication for district programs and student screenings.
Assist Division Leaders and Instructional Coaches in the collection of data for program evaluation.
Provide oversight and assistance to building principals for District professional development to ensure compliance with State requirements.
Prepare professional development reports for State audits.
Manage and monitor District evaluation documents for non-certified staff.
Manage paperwork for all curriculum groups and extended contracts.
Work in various platforms to create curriculum maps and other content for teachers to access.
Assist with managing professional development opportunities including descriptions, sign ups, agendas, communication, stipend pay, and professional development credits.
Manage post meeting tasks to include printing materials, articles, and follow up communication.
Manage registration and reimbursement paperwork for Instructional Coaches and Content Leaders.
Assist with curriculum inventory projects and the distribution of resources from curriculum adoptions and renewals.
Support and assist with organization of district community outreach programs and events related to social emotional learning and support.
Assist with preparing data reports for local and State assessments.
Assist with McKinney-Vento/Homeless student support, State reporting, and transportation coordination.
Provide support for the District’s front desk receptionist when necessary.
Perform other duties from time to time that may be assigned by the Assistant Superintendent or Director of Curriculum.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
