Beltone Hearing Aid Center is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Sterling, MI

Beltone, the world leader in hearing healthcare, is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our TOP WORKPLACE organization as a Patient Care Coordinator. Working in a professional medical office setting, the Patient Care Coordinator is the first face and voice of our office and must be organized, dependable and personable. This position will be part-time with an average work week of 24 hours and a set schedule. The average compensation for this position is in excess of $24,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Treat each patient as a dear loved one (family member) in all interactions (in office greetings and phone communications); build rapport to ensure an outstanding office experience
  • Set appointments from incoming and outbound calls using our proprietary script
  • Verify insurance benefits
  • Work closely with the Hearing Care Practitioner to manage the office schedule by prioritizing and confirming appointments and rescheduling cancellations and no-shows
  • Manage office workflow including greeting patients, updating patient files, managing inventory, and entering data into the scheduling and Point of Sale system.
  • Additional administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Professional, positive, and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a medical setting, while maintaining confidentiality of patient records.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • General office/administrative skills including use of office equipment (computers/printer/phone system), filing, prioritizing workflow, answering phones, performing daily inventory counts.
  • Excellent communication skills both in person and on the phone.

Compensation:

  • Hourly wage and performance-based bonuses.
  • Benefits package Life, PTO, and 401K (eligibility requirements apply).
